Reflections from Amsterdam: Cardstream at Money 20/20 Europe 2025

By Joe Perry, Director of Sales, Cardstream

Money 20/20 Europe 2025 was another standout event—and this year in Amsterdam, the energy was unmistakable. From the moment we touched down, it was clear: fintech is moving fast, and Cardstream is right where it needs to be.

Alongside our CEO Adam Sharpe, I had the privilege of representing Cardstream throughout the week. We packed in a full schedule—back-to-back meetings, strategic networking, and high-level discussions with some of the brightest minds in the industry. The conversations we had weren’t just promising—they were purposeful.

White-Label is Winning

One key theme stood out in virtually every conversation: the demand for flexible, white-label payment infrastructure is stronger than ever. Whether we were talking to PayFacs, ISOs, SaaS platforms, or banks, the message was the same—businesses want to move quickly, brand their own solutions, and stay ahead of compliance without being held back by rigid systems.

That’s where Cardstream comes in. Our modular platform—spanning acquiring-as-a-service, gateway connectivity, merchant onboarding, and transaction routing—is built to empower our partners to scale, differentiate, and own their offering. It’s this partner-first mindset that continues to resonate across the board.

Driving the Conversation Forward

We were also proud to contribute to some of the broader industry conversations happening across the week. Topics like embedded finance, orchestration, and automation were high on the agenda—as were discussions around regulatory shifts and the evolving expectations of end-users.

Cardstream’s ability to adapt and provide future-ready solutions puts us in a strong position. We’re not just offering tech—we’re enabling our partners to build smart, scalable businesses that can thrive in an increasingly complex landscape.

The Right People, the Right Time

What really makes Money 20/20 special is the quality of the connections. Whether it was an early breakfast meeting, a quiet corner at the venue, or a more relaxed conversation at one of the evening events, we had some brilliant, honest discussions—many of which are already moving into action.

Looking Ahead

Amsterdam was a clear reminder of the direction this industry is heading—and confirmed the role Cardstream continues to play as a strategic enabler. We came back energised, focused, and excited about what’s next.

To everyone who shared their time, insights, and ambitions with us—thank you. We’re looking forward to building on the conversations we started and turning ideas into lasting partnerships.
